Nestled in the sleepy village of Foresthill in the Lockyer Valley, Qld, Australia, Mimmis is an oasis in the middle of a salad bowl farming area only a few minutes off the Warrego Highway. Its half way between the major towns of Toowoomba and Ipswich.
Nuturing a love of Handmade started Mimmis path to owning her own business and being able to sell her creations and to help other " Handmadies" by selling their creations on a commission basis.

Mimmis has set up shop using all old, vintage and antique furniture as the shop fittings and many of these items are also for sale. The range has expanded to vintage inspired giftware and you can also find gorgeous trims, flowers and embellishments.
Regular classes are run in a set up classroom at the rear of the store, catering for eight students at a time. The classes are on a demand basis and include but are not limited to scrap booking, learning to crochet, knit, quilt and sew.
Mimmis also is the office for The Handmade Expo Markets, being a part owner of the market with her twin daughters.
